Cunt
The female genitalia have many different names - vagina, pussy, fanny (an English one), box, map of Tassie (Australian), cooter, gash, and a whole load more.
Cunt though, is commonly used as one of the more derogatory terms used and is often used as a put down to anyone, male or female.
The origins of the word are varied, the old Germanic word "kunton" and Norse "kunta" were words used for the female genitalia and are considered to be the word's true origins although the Latin words "cutis" (skin) or "cuneus" (wedge) are sometimes referred to.
Cunt wasn't always the harsh and vulgar term it is today. In fact the word existed in England's street names. Gropecunt Lane could be found in London, York, Shrewsbury, Bristol and Oxford and was an area used by prostitutes in centuries past.
